Description
Mont Takherkhort Nature Reserve is part of the Toubkal National Park . Situated in the Atlas Mountains, the reserve offers spectacular views of the Atlas Mountain Valley, diverse plant life and over 20km of safe, well-maintained hiking trails.
Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech –Tikhfist–Takherkhort –Azerfsane–Marrakech
9.00 am – collection from your accommodation.
We’ll then begin the gentle hike towards the top of the valley – passing Tikhfist berber village and terraced fields . We’ll climb to an elevation of close to 500 meters and enjoy a stunning panoramic view over the entire ouirgane valley . We’ll find a picturesque spot along the way and pause to enjoy a traditional Berber picnic, to a stunning natural backdrop.
We’ll spend the afternoon descending down the Azzaden Valley until we reach the village of azerfsane , which is located in Azzaden Valley . There we explore the village , enjoy a cap of tea there and then catch the taxi back to Marrakech.5:30pm– return to your accommodation
